What is life without a bit of fun an a bit of controlled chaos. Bards are as unpredictable as they are enjoyable to be around. Our county was created from the skill and charm of Alarian Singkeep, an Elf who managed to capture a castle through a song so sweet it made all its inhabitants fall asleep. Our royal family now is shared with that of Istralore and of the Silistra line, which is as noble as it is capable. Our recent history is a turbulent one especialyl with our own kin as we sides with Wex and helped to fight our own family. This obviously has not gone over well but our charm is sure to win their favor and love back before long! After all, who can frown with a good song and friendly company. The Emperor himself is known to enjoy our songs and has a Seinathil bard at court to keep him entertained. We are truly blessed though our natural talents are certainly helpful. Seinathil is home to the Bard college where most of the bards and all of the truly talented ones are taught their trade.  We are of the belief that a good story requires us to play both the hero and the villain. What will it be next?

Our lands are never without song, although the Bard college is in our capital city the small towns and villages are always gifted with recent graduates or students wishing to hone their craft and the streets and taverns of our lands are never without a melody. The college itself is a grand place befiting such a noble profession and its halls and teachers have molded some of the greatest musicians and writers in recent memory. Their ruling family sees the maintenance of this institution as one of their primary responsibilities and takes care to do so well.

Many would and have assumed that our people abhor violence and war or at least are bad at it. Nothing could be further from the truth. War and death make for the best art and there is nothing quite like feeling the heat of it yourself to inspire a bard or individual. The bards college believes this as does its rulers. Our people are known for their fierce and brave warriors and armies who march to the sound of a war song or battle bapipe. When Seianthil marches to war you wiull both hear and feel it. We are not to be underestiamted!
