PREVENTATIVE CARE ●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Persistent
The world is wracked with sickness, it being one of the more scientifically likely extinction events of the species, it is an eternal danger to humanity. A Scion with this Boon can help save another from the grasp of plague and sickness. Once per Session, they may give another being +6 Automatic Successes to resist any sickness or poison.
This Boon may never be used on one’s self, the reason why is unknown, but as the past has shown, Fate finds it incredibly entertaining when a doctor dies to something they could cure in another.
ASSESS HEALTH ●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Persistent
CAT Scans, X-rays, and a thousand more tools Humanity has developed to let them learn what is wrong with one and other. How a grand physician of the Gods could possibly manage without these tools is hard to grasp, until this Boon is taken into account.
A Scion with this Boon needs no tools to diagnose any illness or wound a human being is suffering. With a glance, they could identify the common cold, pregnancies, plagues, parasites, and anything else.
Additionally, once per Session, the Scion may activate this Boon to gain +6 to a mundane Medicine roll.
PLAGUE RAT ●●
Cost: 2 Legend
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Miscellaneous
Just as there are healers among the Pantheons, there are also plaguebringer's, the harbingers of sickness and death. A Scion who wishes to walk this path, the route of Nergal, Apollo, and Hel, may infect a single mortal with any naturally occurring sickness of their choice. Anything from the common cold, to Ebola, they may infect a target with spontaneously. They lack any control of it after this point, and it could very well come back to strike themselves down if they are not careful, as the disease will spread naturally.
Against Divine Beings, however, this Boon is less potent. Ichor naturally giving some degree of resistance to the mortal plagues of the world. When used on a Legendary Being, this Boon must roll its activation role and attempt to overcome the target’s reflexive Stamina + Fortitude roll. If the target fails to resist, they take a -2 penalty to all actions for the remainder of the Scene.
After Offerings of Lead and Hate (Health 5) is taken, a Scion who uses this Boon to infect a mortal may generate a Plague point.
PANACEA ●●
Cost: None or 2 Legend
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Persistent and Miscellaneous
It is unlikely you will see Apollo prescribing a dose of Antibiotics, or see Dian Cecht injecting his charges with medication (though that’s mostly because Dian Cecht is a terrible doctor), and they instead use ancient medicines we know for a fact don’t work.
But, with this Boon, the reality of the situation tends to fade in the face of Fate, where ancient remedies sound more interesting most of the time. Due to this, a Scion with this Boon loses no dice for lacking proper equipment for treating even the most complicated diseases. Additionally, the Scion may activate this Boon to double their target’s healing times for one day per Success.
Additionally, this Boon may be used to allow the Scion to cure morals of any disease or sickness in a single action, rather than an extended one, if they pay the activation cost of this Boon plus a point of Willpower. If a Scion curse a mortal of some sickness, and the Scion possesses Offerings of Blood and Prayer, they gain one Healer point.
PURIFY / INFECTIOUS ●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Persistent
Just being in the presence of Nergal makes even other Deities feel queezy, and just being in the presence of Apollo feels healthier in general (if he is not in a bad mood). A Scion with this Boon may cause all beings in the Scene to have +2 Fortitude, or -2 Fortitude, chosen when the Boon is first purchased.
If the Scion takes both Offerings of Blood and Prayer, and Offerings of Lead and Hate, they may swap back and forth between the two different effects by spending one Plague or Healer point, depending on which the Scion is changing to. (Changing to the bonus requires a Health point, changing to the penalty requires a Plague point)
SECRETS OF LIFE ●●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Persistent
Through constant trial and error, great training, or just some strange amount of natural talent, Scions who control the health of others are supernaturally proficient, gaining +2 Automatic Successes on all Medicine rolls.
Additionally, being in control of life, the Scion my alternate their fertility rate in a binary manor. The Scion may chose to be supernaturally fertile, or supernaturally infertile.
HEAL / INFECT ●●●
Cost: 3 Legend
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Miscellaneous
Though just a Hero, the capacity to bring immediate remedy and just too bring immediate sickness are within the purview of a Scion who possesses this Boon. Performing miracles and healing the sick with a touch, mixing a foul smelling salve to rub into the wound, breathing infectious air, or fouling flesh at a touch, all this is possible.
When using this Boon, the Scion must decide which version they are using.
Heal: By making contact, gesturing, or otherwise identifying their target, the Scion may heal another being in the Scene from any wounds they are currently suffering from. For every Success rolled on this Boon, the target may heal one point of Lethal damage, or two points of Bashing damage immediately. This Boon may cure infections, and seal wounds, but it can’t regenerate missing limbs and the like.
Infect: By making contact, gesturing, or otherwise identifying their target, the Scion may bring sickness and ill health upon another being within the Scene. Targeting either the DDV or BDV of the target, they compare their Successes to these values. The target suffers one point of Lethal damage per threshold Success, or two points of Bashing.
POTENCY / STERILITY ●●●
Cost: 2 Legend
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Miscellaneous
While the Purview of Fertility encourages the spreading of progeny, true control of the fertility of humanity and even the Divine rests in the hands of the masters of their health. With this Boon, the Scion can either bless or curse any mortal community with incredibly high fertility rates, or render the entire community infertile.
If the Scion wishes to use this Boon to alter the fertility rates of a Divine Being, they may do so, but the Boon is limited to a single target per use, and may never affect a being that is above Legend 8. If they wish to alter the fertility of a Divine Being, they must overcome their Stamina + Fortitude resistance roll if the target is unwilling. Additionally, doing this costs one point of Willpower.
After the Scion has Offerings of Blood and Prayer, or Offerings of Lead and Hate, the Scion may gain one Healer or Plague point when using this Boon on a mortal community. (Healer point for improving the fertility, Plague point for causing infertility)
A THOUSAND PLAGUES ●●●●
Cost: 3 Legend and 1 Willpower
Dice Pool: Health + Art
Type: Miscellaneous
As disturbing as it is, humanity has manufactured incredibly potent plagues, both for entirely altruistic goals of attempting to cure them for practice, and for far more cruel reasons of warfare.
A Demigod who walks the path of sickness may do something similar. With a boiling cauldron, a skin crawling poem, or another ritual, the Scion may create a brand new disease that they can infect mortals with when using the Plague Rat (Health 2) Boon, and will generate an additional Plague point if a mortal is infected with it after Offerings of Lead and Hate is taken.
The exact mechanical effect of this is left to the individual storyteller, as this Boon will generally only haunt mortals.
OVERFLOWING LIFE ●●●●
Cost: 3 Legend and 2 Willpower
Dice Pool: None
Type: Reflexive
The skill of the healers, doctors, and more medically inclined herbalists of the Pantheons is staggering, their skill not only leaving their charges healthy, but healthier than they were previously.
When a Scion successfully uses any positive Health Boon (List Boons), they may activate this Boon to give their target two Phantom Health Boxes (-0) for one day per Health Rank the Scion possesses. A being may only have one set of Phantom Health Boxes from this Boon at a time.
VIRGIN BIRTH ●●●●
Cost: 2 Legend
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Miscellaneous
The idea of a magical pregnancy or birth is reasonably frequent to humanity, from Jesus, to Dionysus, to Huitzilopochtli, it has been a mark of Divinity. With this Boon, the Scion may impregnate a target through overtly magical means.
This Boon would allow someone who is normally unable to impregnate someone to do so (such as a woman, or an eunuch), allow someone who is normally unable to carry a child (a man or someone who can otherwise not carry children), or allow someone to do either through overtly magical means (impregnate someone with a ray of sunlight, become impregnated by a handshake).
Taking (or giving yours to someone) the genetic material of another who is unwilling, however, is resisted by a Stamina + Fortitude.
Any use of this Boon generates two Healing points.
OFFERINGS OF BLOOD AND PRAYER ●●●●●

A Healer beyond anything mortals could dream of, a Demigod of mending, and fixing has shown themselves to be a great boon to all they travel with, and past. RITUAL OF DEMOPHON ●●●●● ●
Cost: 5 Legend and 1 Willpower
Dice Pool: None
Type: Miscellaneous
A great blessing to bestow upon a mortal, a Demigod who has this power may bless a mortal with endless days, raising them to Legend three, with no Purviews or Epic Attributes, but having no limit to their lifespan.
It should be noted, however, that handing out supernatural life spans can possibly raise the ire of Pantheons, depending on which the Scion belongs to. The Bogovi, for one, would be exceptionally, and violently against it.
Whenever a Scion performs this, and possesses Offerings of Blood and Prayer, they gain three Healer points.
PLAGUEBEARERS ●●●●● ●
Cost: 1 Willpower
Dice Pool: None
Type: Miscellaneous
Evil spirits that carry sickness, from great beings, to hordes of miniscule ones, monsters that bring sickness is a concept humanity is not unfamiliar with. By using this Boon, a Scion may call forth one of these beings to do their bidding.
These beings always have a Legend rating of half the user’s, and must do the Scion’s bidding. A Scion may have a number of these beings active equal to their Health Rank.
These Plaguebearers radiate sickness out from themselves, perfect to plant as guardians, keeping mortals and other beings away, or inside urban areas, to spread disease and sickness.
A Scion who has at least one Plaguebearer active begins each story with one Plaguebearer point.
GIFT / CURSE OF THE GODS ●●●●● ●●

Preventative Care: Remove limitation on number of uses.
Quarantine Brands / Bubons and Boils: After the Boon is used once, it will naturally spread to either ward other infected areas, or make other infected people terrifying.

MIACH’S SONG / DIAN’S BLOW ●●●●● ●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Reflexive
Healing, or inflicting, the most grievous of wounds is within the Purview of a Scion with this Boon. Regenerating entire missing limbs, healing scars, or causing entire body parts to wither and die, or inflicting wracking physical disfigurements.
Using this Boon to heal Aggravated damage a target has suffered heals (Iry, I can’t math.) per (Variable) number of Successes gathered on the activation roll. If a Scion can heal a target of at least five points of Aggravated Damage, they may restore a lost limb (that is not Fatebound to the figure).
Using this Boon to inflict Aggravated damage, the Scion makes an attack against the target as normal. If they wish, the user may subtract five Aggravated damage they would inflict (calculated post DV) to wither a limb and leave it useless to the Scion.
ASCLEPIUS / DEATH KNELL ●●●●● ●●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Reflexive
Now a Deity of healing or plague, a Scion has walked a long road, and mastered many different ways to wield their powers. Fate has grown impressed with their commitment to the role they chose, gaining new ways to spend their Plague and Healer points.
A CURE FOR DEATH / LINGERING INFECTION ●●●●● ●●●
Cost: 16 Legend and 2 Willpower per use
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Miscellaneous
A Cure for Death: Not even Death can prevent a healer of such a Divine magnitude, knowing secret herbs, special tools, or other ways to coax the soul back to the body. By using this Boon, the Deity may return a being to life after they have died within a period of one day per Health Rank, the only drawback to this being the large resource requirement, and potential political issues that stem from stealing from an Underworld ruler.
Lingering Infection: Healers, that is your bane. Every plague, every sickness, there is always a cure somewhere. A solution to this, a cunning trick, to lace every wound, every disease, every illness, with a crippling infection ready to burst forth when it is tampered with. Whenever a Scion uses a Negative Health Boon (List), or they see a being with at least one point of Lethal Damage, they may activate this Boon for no cost. If someone attempts to heal the wound, or sickness through a magical means, this Boon instantly targets the being who is being healed with an Aggravated damage attack based on the activation roll, and the user then pays the resource cost to activate it.
FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH / POISONED WELLS ●●●●● ●●●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Reflexive
Fountain of Youth: A healing well, river, or idol, are not uncommon images for humanity. A Deity with this Boon can create one of these, blessing an already existing object or natural location with their power. Every being who interacts (drinks from a well, swims in a river, prays at an idol) may gain an effect chosen by the Scion. Some examples of an appropriate effect would be: Returning the being to the prime of life, healing all wounds and illnesses, or guaranteeing the next time the being has intercourse a child will be produced). This blessing will last until it is somehow destroyed, and a Deity may only have one of these active at a time.
Poisoned Wells: A swamp filled with hydras, a mass grave, or as simple as a well passing too close to the city’s latrines have been sources of horrible sickness. A Deity with this Boon can endow an object, or natural location with their power. The land will grow sick in a radius of ten miles per Health Boon the Deity possesses, causing blights killing plantlife, and crippling the local mortal population. It will never kill everyone in the area, as the lingering sickness this Boon creates can’t exist without living beings for it to consume. This curse will last until it is somehow destroyed, and a Deity may only have one of these active at a time.
BABY BOOM / LOST GENERATION ●●●●● ●●●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Reflexive
Baby Boom: A Scion with this Boon can release a colossal population Boon upon a chosen urban center. Every single time any mortal in the center engages in any form of intercourse, it is massively likely that they will become pregnant, even if they would normally be unable to due to any variety of reasons. This Boon may additionally be used to effect a single being above Legend Nine, guaranteeing a pregnancy, no matter the normal limitations. If the partner is unwilling, they may resist through a Stamina + Fortitude roll.
If the user has Offerings of Blood and Prayer, this Boon generates three Healer points.
Lost Generation: A Scion with this Boon can cause a colossal drop in population of an urban center. Every mortal in a chosen urban center becomes entirely infertile, no children able to be conceived in the radius, leading to an eventual collapse of the population, especially when coupled with the release of an infectious disease. This Boon may additionally be used to effect a single being above Legend Nine, preventing any pregnancy. If the partner is unwilling, they may resist through a Stamina + Fortitude roll.
If the user has Offerings of Lead and Hate, this Boon generates three Plague points.
GENESIS ●●●●● ●●●●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: None
Type: Reflexive
The Pantheons, in most cases, created humanity. As well, many of the other Legendary Beings of the many worlds of the Pantheons came to creation due to the actions of the Pantheons or Titans. It is with this Boon that a master of the Health Purview may do the same, creating an entire new species of sentient beings, or creating one thousand beings per Health Rank of an existing species, such as human, Sidhe, Dwarf, and even stranger things.
This Boon immediately fills the Scion’s Healer pool with points if they have Offerings of Blood and Prayer, a creation of life on this scale tantalizing Fate.
Creating a new species, or a mass of an existing one automatically Fatebinds the Deity to the group, and all of their descendants. This Fatebinding may be weak, but the beings will attempt to win the favor of their creator, even if they are pitifully weak creatures compared to a Deity.
BOLSTER / CRIPPLE ●●●●● ●●●●●
Cost: None
Dice Pool: Health + Medicine
Type: Reflexive
The healers, and plague spreaders of the Pantheon have a colossal amount of authority over the lives of their fellow Deities. Just as they can leave a human healthy, and safe, and they can leave humans crippled and dying, they can do the same to their fellow Gods and Goddesses.
When attempting to aid their fellows, a Deity can fortify the life of one of another being, filling them with a massive amount of energy, holding them far from the hands of Death and sickness. Mechanically, this is represented by the target gaining one -0 Health Box for every three Successes past the first on the Activation roll of this Boon. Additionally, this Boon may not stack upon itself, even if it is from different sources. This Boon will last for one day per Health Rank the user possesses. When the effect fades, any damage that the Phantom Health Boxes has instantly vanishes, not rolling over into the being’s base health.
When attempting to slay their fellows, a Deity can wither another being, sapping their energy, and filling them with crippling illnesses that leave them feverish and pale. This Boon is reflexively resisted with a Stamina + Fortitude roll by their target, but if Successful, this Boon temporarily removes one Health Box per three Successes past the first the user gains on their roll. If this would leave their target at no Health Boxes, or would cause their new Health Boxes to overflow with Aggravated Damage, the target perishes immediately.
