A giant among the ranks of the Æsir, Loki serves as the source, and the solution for the majority of the problems his blood-brother's kin face. He is a trickster, and is accused of being womanly, a great insult for the Æsir, but still works loyally with the Gods of Asgard until the moment of his betrayal. A betrayal that, coming from a God who may be the most loyal of all the Æsir, that makes little sense, making the situation all the more tragic.

Doomed to play a direct hand in the killing of Baldur, doomed to the following punishment, and destined to lead an army of giants against the Gods at the final battle to die facing Heimdall, some may find it difficult to trust the red haired giant. But, it must always be remembered what Loki has sacrificed, threats suffered, and children banished away, while still standing with the Gods, and solving many of their problems, even if he was the source of most.
