The poorly mannered God of war and the sweltering heat of the sun now serves as the consort of Ereshkigal after insulting one of her messengers, and then attempting to escape the Underworld after being forced to travel to her realm and apologize. The lion headed God is a source of sickness and death, bringing many of the scourges of humanity to the world.

If he is imprisoned in the Underworld, or if he is free to come and go is unknown, although if the evidence of Ereshkigal's first husband are evident of anything, it would be that her rules may bend for some Gods, but being her lover does not give one any special benefits.
