Asha

The core concept of Zoroastrianism is Asha, truth, order, and righteousness, though it is an exceptionally broad word forming the core tenant of a religion's philosophy on life making summering it incredibly difficult. The Yazata are able to wield these powers against the forces of lies and evil in the world, the forces of Asha combating the forces of Druj, the polar opposite of Asha. These powers help empower their masters, and gently guiding them down the path of righteousness by encouraging them with these powers.

One limitation of Asha is that it will never bow to allow itself to be used by a lair. If a being who has any Dots in Asha speaks a lie, or allows one to be spoken in their presence without trying to thwart it, for any reason, no matter how noble, immediately loses access to Asha for a number of days equal to their Asha Rank.

A number of these Boons were designed by the lovely people at Gotham By Night, and some of the other Boons were modified by them.

Asha One

HUMATA ●

Cost: 1 or more Legend per use

Dice Pool: None

Type: Persistent

The Zoroastrian concept of good thoughts, is the first thing that the Scions of the Yazata must master. When a Scion takes this power, they must chose one of the three segments of Attribute (Physical, Social, Mental) to effect when they focus themselves on Humata. When they do this, they can pay the activation cost of this power, and gain one Phantom Dot of an Epic Attribute inside the section of Attribute they chose. This bonus lasts until the end of the Scene, and may not exceed any of the normal limiting factors of Epic Attributes, such as the Legend -1 rule, or the requirement to have at least equal Dots in the mundane Attribute as the Epic.

When the Scion gains the Ahunwar Boon, the Scion has the option to use a more powerful version of this Boon, paying three Legend and gaining two Dots, or if they have the higher Rank Tanapuhr Boon, they may pay eight Legend for three Dots of Epic Attribute.

These Phantom Dots of Epic Attribute do not come with Knacks.

But, those that allow themselves to be effected gain the Yazata Scion's Dots of Order or their Valor. If the Scion chooses to pay the increased cost of three Legend and one Willpower per chosen target, they may give both Virtues.
