Goddess of strife, chaos, death, and war, The Morrigan is a Goddess so dangerous and unpredictable that even the brave Tuatha de Danann are cautious with her. She is truly a terror, capable of dooming someone who offends her to die, something which happens often, and has lead to the death of at least one of Ireland's favorite Heroes. She is someone who even wonderful Nuada has a difficulty curbing the chaotic behavior of, and is always pleased when her Pantheon has to bend to her frankly strange demands for her assistance.

At the Battle of Mag Tuired, she arrives to assist her Pantheon after she took The Dagda on the shore of a river. She arrived, and spoke a powerful poem over the ranks of the enemy Formori, dooming them, and casting fear into their hearts so that they fled the battle, running into the sea.

Just who The Morrigan is has been raised as a question. Some wonder if she is several different Goddesses, or possibly an aspect of Danu herself. No matter what the truth, no one has tried to ask that question. Or, at least, has not lived to tell the tale.
