Family Tree
The Slavic Gods are some of the most distant of all the Pantheons, though surprisingly this does not mean that they are slowly slipping into Titanhood. Rather than disinterest in the mortal world, the Bogovi are actually quite concerned over its function and survival. The lack of involvement is the result of a complex series of laws preventing direct interaction with humanity.
Even though the Gods of Russia sometimes attempt to skirt around their own laws, the laws forbidding direct involvement between the Divine and Mundane makes diplomacy with all other Pantheons quite difficult; and even more concerning for the few Scions that have been released into the world descended from the Bogovi to face the Titans. When the war is over, what will become of them? There is precedent for illegal children, such as themselves, to be unmade, purged from reality, or given a task to fill for all of eternity with no rest, praise, or visitors. Is it better to attempt to flee the ranks of the Bogovi, or risk punishment for the crime of existing?
Virtues: Duty, Harmony, Order, Piety
Chors - A radiant Goddess of both the Sun and the Moon who searches every night for her daughter, the unmade Goddess of Autumn, who was removed from existence to punish Stribog for the rape of Chors; though this punishment has only served to hurt Chors further.
Mokosh - The Earth Goddess has been re-imagined by the Russian people into the figure of Mother Russia. Humanity's ancient ancestors were born from her, and unlike many mother Goddesses, she is quick to offense, and quicker to take retribution of famine on those who cross her.
Perun - The rash and stubborn God of Storms to whom humanity looks hopefully towards. He is the most likely to ignore the laws of the Divine and intervene directly in the world, having given humanity the gift of fire; and went off to fight the Aesir by himself when they invaded Russia. Despite his frequent lack of regard for the law, Perun serves as one of the Four Kings.
Stribog - The God of Winds is a disgruntled and antisocial figure. He watches over all to see that the laws of the Bogovi are not broken, and is sure to report those breaches that have occurred.
Svarozhich - The leader of the Bogovi. He drives the chariot of the sun through the sky every day, and despite being focused on the Bogovi following his laws, has breached them himself by making his mortal lover into a Goddess, before then losing interest and ceasing to pay attention to her.
Dazhbog - The young and beloved God of the Dawn and Youth who rules the Bogovi as one of the Four Kings. The God ages through the day, perishing from old age as the sun sets, only to be reborn again with the coming dawn.
Morena - The terrifying Goddess of Winter, Death, and most importantly the lifespan of mortals. Her duty is to ensure that all mortals die at their appointed time, and that they not linger among the living. Every winter she comes forth from the underworld to bring the snows and silent cold with her.
Radegast - The God of the Stars, Night, and Travellers; Radegast is known to be a handsome god, so handsome that it was his visage that Stribog took to lay with Chors. He sometimes sneaks onto the earth to feast with humanity, and for that reason, all unknown visitors must be treated well among Slavic households, for one never knows when it is Radegast in disguise. He serves as one of the Four Kings of the Bogovi.
Svantovit - The four headed God who watches over all of creation, and sees all, even those things that have not yet come to pass. He is a warrior of his Pantheon, and fights mounted on a great steed. He serves as one of the Four Kings of the Bogovi.
Veles - King of the Underworld who keeps order over all those who have died. He gives humanity fruit, grain, and aids them in caretaking for their cattle. In addition to all of this, he is also a skilled magician, and master of illusions.
