Once per Scene, a Scion with this Boon can gain +6 Autosuccesses to avoid harm from flames or smoke.

Some Pantheons, such as the Bogovi and the Theoi, held Fire for themselves, humanity undeserving of the power of fire. A Scion with this Boon can access this divine flame, producing a flickering flame from their hand that needs no fuel, and unable to be extinguished without the Scion’s will.

With a snap of their fingers, a Scion can set their weapons alight with Divine fire. A sword dripping flames, a pistol slinging superheated lead, or more fantastic things. After paying the activation cost of the Boon, the Scion may gain +2 Autosuccesses on attacks made with the burning weapon for the remainder of the Scene.

A danger with even the most tamed of fires, a wild spark leaping from the blaze, and igniting something outside of the safely controlled area. With this Boon, a Scion can do much the same, fire flowing like water through the air at their will. This can allow them to clear a path in a blaze, cause fires to burn out harmlessly, or force fire to move into the wind. They may control five cubic yards of Fire per Fire Boon they possess.

Fires burn bright, and so do the passions of the Gods and Goddesses of flame. They rage, and love in a way that puts their fellows to shame. Any Scion who takes this Boon gains some sort of fire related tint to their appearance, be it burning eyes, or just a radiating sense of warmth. Additionally, they may add 1 Phantom Dot to a Virtue of their choice (capable of raising the Virtue past 5), and may add 2 Autosuccesses to Presence rolls.

Smoke blinds, conceals, and can even kill, more subtle than raging fire itself, but an inseparable brother to the red raging blaze. With this Boon, a Scion may call forth dark smoke to fill the Scene, adding a hazard to the Scene.

Not just able to bring fire forth, or inspire others as fire has done in the past, a Scion with this Boon may give the gift of Fire to humans. Able to target one mortal human per Fire Rank, the Scion can give a Mortal one dice to all Academics and Art rolls equal to their Fire Rank at the time of using. Some Pantheons may find issue with their Scions wielding this power, the Theoi and Bogovi’s rulership never consented to it in the first place, for example.

With a snap of their fingers a Demigod of Fire can summon forth an inferno around them. Everything flammable in the Scene, and occasionally some things that probably shouldn’t be, such as concrete, instantly ignite. From that point, unless the Scion intentionally uses Boons to control the blaze, it will continue burning and moving naturally.
Using this Boon adds a Hazard to the Scene.
This Boon, asides from making life incredibly difficult for everyone present, also can cause damage to infrastructure. Against any flammable object, such as papers, buildings, trees, or whatever is present in the Scene, the objects have no Soak, and their resistance roll is equivalent to the roll gained in their construction.

Many Fire Gods and Goddesses, in bouts of passion and rage, have a habit of setting things on fire, not particularly beneficial for the health of their enemies, but their allies too suffer. With a glance, however, this can be lessened, and the Scion can give a target access to Salamander’s Blessing (Fire 1) for the remainder of the Scene.

Fire is dangerous, if you play with fire, you will get burned. But, despite this, humanity is fascinated by fire. It’s beauty, and rage equally drawing their interest. With this Boon, a Scion may take on this aspect of fire themselves, drawing the attention of all for the remainder of the Scene. If the activation roll of this Boon overcomes the MDV of anyone who has even a chance glance at them, they become immediately fascinated by the being with this Boon active.
How each being choses to show this fascination is up to the individual personality. Some may want to grab the user and drag them away like a pretty trinket, some may want to talk, others just stare aimlessly. Due to this slight unpredictability of the Boon, it can be dangerous, but that’s what happens when you play with fire.

The hearth is an indelible marker of home for many cultures. A roaring fire place, a fire pit with a blackened iron pot of boiling broth, or even the grand hearth that Hestia tends on Olympus itself, all mark home and welcome.
With this Boon, a Scion can designate a controlled flame to be a blessed Hearth. After activating this Boon on such a fire, it gains the following effects. Firstly, it is entirely pacified, and will not send a spark flying to set the home ablaze or the like. Secondly, anyone who sleeps in an area that the fire is the hearth of (be it a hovel, or a castle) gains two Willpower. Lastly, any who are in the direct presence of the Fire are compelled to act respectfully towards all others in the fire’s presence if their MDV is lower than the activation roll of this Boon.

Fire is dangerous, fire can kill, but too can it purge, and save lives. Sealing a wound with the touch of burning iron is enough for mortals, but for the Divine, wounds can run deeper than flesh. Just like the purifying blaze of Atar, a Scion can purge impurities from a target. This Boon will strip the target of any lingering affect placed on them by other Boons or Knacks if the activation role of this Boon is greater than the role used to place the effect.
Though, as Fire can very rarely not burn, the being purged with this Boon suffers one point of Aggravated Damage per effect stripped. This damage may not be reduced by any means as the fire can not purify without burning.

Eating with a hunger that can never be sated, Fire can destroy cities, a wrath London, Rome, and others have felt in the past. With this Boon, a Demigod of Fire can release such a blaze on an environment, be it urban, or natural, to wreak havoc and decimate the land.
When a Scion uses this Boon, they release a torrent of flame upon a landscape. For Mortals, it is impossible for them to halt the torrent of flame. No matter how well, and how cunningly they combat the fire, it will outsmart them, and grow past their ability to manage. But, if a Divine Being wishes to combat the blaze, they will have to overcome the activation role of this Boon through whatever means they wish to use.
This Boon will kill half the Successes gained on the activation role as a percentage of the population of the area, be it wildlife, or humanity. It will also destroy twice the Successes gained on the activation role as a percentage of the infrastructure of the area.

Be it a curse, or a blessing, the Gods and Goddesses of fire feel everything more than their fellows. When they love, rage, hate, or lust, they feel it many times over as their fellows do. But, they can subject others to this, allow others to feel the passion that burns in their hearts, though others may not be very welcome to this.
All beings in a Scene who have a lower MDV than the Scion gains activating this Boon immediately increase their highest Virtue by one Phantom Dot, gaining all the benefits and drawbacks of such. Furthermore, all beings in the Scene may channel each of their Virtues once for no cost, and gain half the user’s Fire Rank as Automatic Successes to any Virtue roll.

Hotter than hot, more passionate than any mortal could dream, and wielding the hungry element with great power, if they lack in finesse, a Demigod on the cusp of Apotheosis may fuel their earliest powers to new heights.
Salamander’s Blessing: This Boon may additionally be used to resist any emotional control.
Secret of Fire: Can be used reflexively any time the Scion creates Fire with this Purview to ward the fire against magical extinguishing. These flames no longer count as being mundane, but can resist attempts to extinguish them with the activation role of the power used to spark them.
Hot Blooded: Every time a Scion with this Boon falls to a Virtue Extremity, they may replenish one of the Virtue Channels for that Virtue.
The Gift of Fire: Each of the original beings who gained the bonus may pass it on three times to other Mortals.

The breath of the great Fire Wyrm that Beowulf fought and died to, the flames from the beating wings of a Phoenix, and other great beasts of the inferno can be harnessed by a Scion with this Boon. A Scion with this Boon may create a torrent of fire in a cone five Yards wide at its base per Fire Rank, each being caught inside being targeted by the same attack based on the activation role dealing Aggravated Damage.

Now a Deity in their own right, a Scion boils and bubbles with heat and overwhelming passion that few others can hope to equal. They gain another Phantom Dot of the same Virtue they empowered with Hot Blooded (Fire 3), and additionally may activate this Boon to leave their Ichor boiling in their veins.
When a God or Goddess has their Ichor boiling with this Boon, any being who deals damage to them while in a five yard radius suffers an attack. For every point of Lethal or Aggravated damage someone inflicts in this radius, they immediately suffer a Lethal attack from the Deity using Fire + Fortitude as their Ichor splashes on their attacker burns with a horrible force.
RAVENOUS FLAMES ●●●●● ●●●

Not even the giant Loki could eat more than Fire, having an unquenchable hunger that it must always attempt to sate. A Fire Deity with this power, an incredibly cruel one at that, can activate this power whenever they deal damage to a target with a Fire Boon. That causes the blaze to be affected by an insatiable hunger, clinging to the being and attempting to consume them whole.
This Boon causes a Hazard to immediately target the being who is affected by this Boon. Unlike a normal Hazard (?) they may attempt to resist it every time they have an action to spare. Someone who is being immolated by this Boon may not have it applied to them again until its effect has been removed, lasting the Scene.

Although in modernity, we would liken volcanoes and lava with the earth and stone more than fire alone, but for the few Gods and Goddesses who were connected with volcanoes, they were akin to raging fire more than caring earth.
With this Boon, a God or Goddess can call forth a massive explosion as unnoticed pressure releases and lava pours forth from a new wound in the earth after about ten minutes of focus. Ash is thrown up into the sky, and the land is scarred and reshaped as lava flows, burns, and hardens. This will immediately kill all mortals in the area, and leave the area inhospitable for years without Divine assistance. Additionally, any infrastructure in place is likewise destroyed by the explosion, and subsequent lava flows.
This Boon affects a I have no idea how volcanoes work, must be assessed for mechanics.
Additionally, after taking this Boon, a God or Goddess can use Leaping Spark (Fire 2) to control lava.
FIRE IN THE NIGHT ●●●●● ●●●●

Fire can maim, fire can inspire, and it can hold the heart as passion or as the home. But, it holds one more, as the first tool, sometimes stolen, and sometimes a gift, Fire gave humanity safety from the natural world.
With this Boon, a God or Goddess may bless a contained fire, be it a torch, a bonfire, or a previously blessed hearth, to ward the area. All beings in a twenty yard radius around the fire can chose to use the activation role of this Boon as a substitute for their own resistances against any Boon from the Frost, or Darkness Purview. Additionally, any animal, be they mundane or something as fantastic as the Behemoth itself, must compare their MDV to the activation role. If the Boon overcomes their MDV, they may not willingly enter the radius of this Boon’s effect, and if found inside, must immediately attempt to flee out of it. Creatures who possess some kind of projectile attack, be it a spitting cobra, or a manticore, may not attempt to launch an assault into the radius.

The gift of fire is great, an incredible boon for humanity, even if they received it through less than honest means. But, every gift can be taken away, as a truly powerful Deity of fire can chose to if they so wish. With this Boon, they may incite a Dark Age upon Humanity, effectively giving every mortal a penalty of 10 dice to all Academics, Art, and Politics rolls as nothing new can be created by their minds. The user of this Boon may chose how specific this power is, targeting a civilization, a city, or the planet. Additionally, if this Boon has taken the gift of fire from some group of humanity, it may be used again by the same, or a different Deity to return it and remove the penalty if the second use overcomes the original activation roll.
But, this Boon is not limited just to mortals. They may target another Divine being with this, though in that case it is limited to a single target. Any being below Legend Nine loses access to all of their Epic Mentals for one week per Success. Any being at or above Legend Nine may resist with their MDV, or an Intelligence + Academics or Art roll. If they fail to resist this Boon, they lose access to their Mental Epics for one hour per Threshold Success.

he rage of a Fire Deity is great, as can be attested to by previous powers in this Purview, but so too is their capability for colossal destruction. This massive capability for destruction can be wrought in one of two ways.
Firstly, they may use this Boon to bring about widespread desolation. By rolling Fire + Occult, they may destroy vast swaths of land based on the chart found below. This destruction can come in the form of fire raining from the sky, an unstoppable wildfire, or any other fire related armageddon. This will kill twice the activation role as a percent of the mortal population, and double the activation roll as a percent environmental and infrastructural damage to the area. Any Divine Beings in the area have the potential of living, needing to gain more Successes on an extended roll to escape the area than the user did on activating this Boon in one attempt per Dot of Legend they possess.
Secondly, a Fire God may use this Boon to incinerate a single target. Rolling Fire + Presence, they may wield fire in whatever imaginative and thematic way they wish to attempt to slay the target. It deals Aggravated damage, armor may not be applied against it, and every point point of Aggravated damage the target resists burns a point of legend from the target as the fire insteads ignites the latent energy. Additionally, any attempts to heal the damage cost twice as many resources as normal.
