Associated Powers: Epic Strength, Fertility, Fire, Thunder, War
The powerful, and brash storm God of his Pantheon may be the most looked up to by humanity, not despite his frequent breaches of Divine Law, but for them. The God gifted humanity with the secret of fire, and convinced Stribog, who's duty was to extinguish all fires that humanity could wield, that it wouldn't be a problem. Along with being a powerful storm God, he also brings the rains which fertilize the land and allow the world to grow.
He has tense relationships with some Gods. Stribog, who he tricked and embarrassed over giving the gift of fire to the mortals. Svarozhich, for his frequent breaches of Divine Law, and managing to avoid all punishment in the case of giving mortals fire. Veles, who had been carrying on a clandestine affair with his wife Mokosh. And Thor, who Perun desperately tried to kill when the Aesir Gods invaded the lands of the Slavs along with the Norsemen, but was barely managed to be contained by the rest of the Bogovi arriving on the battlefield and dragging Perun off.
