CraigsList is a popular, free and easy-to-use classified ad website. For many years, CraigsList had a section for Personals that was often used to set up "casual" sexual encounters: Men seeking Women, etc. There were studies published in 2009 that showed 85% of the ads on Craigslist personals were fake, and that prostitutes use services like Craigslist to find clients.
The Personal section has now been shut down, and people who used it are scurrying to find another way to "hook up."

While the CraigsList Personals section is now defunct, it may be helpful for you to know how it worked, because I guarantee you that sex addicts will try to find something similar to replace it for their "fix."
Because it was free, it was easy place for a sex addict to start advertising for sex partners. Addicts appear to believe (at least initially) that the women who advertise on sites like CraigsList and Adult Friend Finders will give them sex for free. My understanding is that a majority of these women are prostitutes who use the internet in place of a pimp. Yes, there are also female sex addicts, but even they may wisely charge for it. Se addicts may also become a victim of a scam.
If you examine any of these types of websites, you will see a lot of male genital photos. Men seem to think their genitals are impressive, but I'm not at all convinced that a woman is overcome with desire for a man on the basis of seeing a photo of his penis. I think the "dick pics" are something that sex workers tolerate in order to get clients. Just my guess.
Sex addicts are looking for NSA (No Strings Attached) casual "encounters" with DDF (Disease and Drug Free) partners. Many of them are into fetishes or group sex. If you find your husband online, you may be surprised to find out what kind of sex he really wants. Addicts may not be afraid to post personal details about their age, marital status, children, job, etc. (see example on this website.) They often post photos of themselves, sometimes facial shots, more often genital photos. Until he gets caught, the addict may think he is invisible on the internet.
