From what I can tell (still running), CV still favors 0.1. This is at odds with what we saw previously and I am not sure why. Perhaps the run length is too short? I am trying a longer chain but with only 0.1, 1, and 10. I am not sure why the results have suddenly changed??
cd /local/scratch/
popanc -o outcvF_r9f0.3gen_demog_gens10.hdf5 -m 10000 -b 5000 -t 10 -f 1 -w 0 -v 1 -c 0.1,1,10 /labs/evolution/projects/popanc_sims/sims/genoP0F_r9f0.3gen_demog_gens10.txt /labs/evolution/projects/popanc_sims/sims/genoP1F_r9f0.3gen_demog_gens10.txt /labs/evolution/projects/popanc_sims/sims/genoAdmxF_r9f0.3gen_demog_gens10.txt > /labs/evolution/projects/popanc_sims/mcmc.cv/cvLongF_r9f0.3gen_demog_gens10
scp outF_r9f0.3gen_demog_gens10.hdf5 /labs/evolution/projects/popanc_sims/mcmc.cv/
Note: based on my notes from earlier the key difference could be that the old CV analyses were based on files without genetic drift for the input. With that said, the difference for the 10 generation runs should be minimal. Perhaps it is the -f option itself.
