I generated a plot of admixture for k = 2-5 for melissa with individuals sorted by host plant (alfalfa vs native plant feeding). The population numbers I used are given below, which basically sort populations geographically within host plant. Despite my initial thoughts this might be a better way to document multiple colonizations of alfalfa as it clear shows that different alfalfa feeding populations have different genetic ancestry (similar to native feeding populations). The figure is made with a perl script (lycaeides_hostplant/entropy/scripts/autoplot.pl) which should be executed within lycaeides_hostplant/entropy/results/ and writes the postscript file lycaeides_hostplant/entropy/figs/qplotmel.eps.
