12v17. We need to be ready to add Lycaeides to the mix in about a week. We need to order supplies for this.
I ordered a case paper towels. We still have a ton of kimwipes.
From Fisher, I ordered:
Tape: 1590120A, TAPE WHITE 19MMX55M 4/PK
Gloves: small, medium, large, 5 boxes each (19-130-1597)
16v17. After talking to Matt and Chris, we decided to go with non-vented small petri dishes for this project. Non-vented does mean they don't get air flow, but we open the dishes once or twice a day which will add enough oxygen. From Fisher: AS4052 PETRI DISH 60X15 STR 500CS
17v17. Ordered a little organza to see if it will work for egg laying: Sparkle Crystal Sheer Organza Fabric Shiny for Fashion, Crafts, Decorations 60 (1 YARD, White); https://www.amazon.com/Sparkle-Crystal-Organza-Fabric-Decorations/dp/B00RW9PMJ6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1494988227&sr=8-2&keywords=organza
We have cups: clean large (58), dirty large (10), clean small (54), dirty small (16)
We have ziplock bags: We have lots of small at home, some used large in the lab
From Michaels we got: fine tipped sharpies (8), dessicant (2 5-lb "Flower Drying Art" by ACTIVA basic materials for creativity, and stencils for trichome density measurements.
From Office Depot we got: #3 coin envelopes (6.4 cm x 10.8 cm) and 8 plastic bins for holding dessicant and plants in coin envelopes.
I bought red poweraid from a gas station for oviposition cages.
