Studying French at Level 3 will take you to a level of fluency and confidence in the language which can be used in the workplace and across multiple careers.
French is an official language in 29 countries, spoken by more than 300 million people worldwide. French is an important language for international business and diplomacy and can open up career opportunities in law, banking, fashion, and tourism. Learning a language helps develop communication skills as well as strengthening cognitive ability. It allows us to develop cultural empathy and a better understanding of our own language and culture. As well as learning to speak French, the skills gained from learning another language can be transferred and applied across all aspects of our lives.
In this course, you will learn how to interact with others in French, explore varied perspectives, justify opinions, and challenge the views of others. This includes film analysis, sharing information about your hopes and dreams, living healthily, comparing and contrasting cultures, discussing the importance of technology and environmental issues, and responding critically to texts.
You will learn to communicate in French using a range of skills. This involves:

listening and responding to authentic texts such as YouTube videos, songs, and audio
