The Year 12 Careers course focuses on giving you the opportunity to develop your employability skills, workplace literacy and career / future pathway awareness. You will have the opportunity to access workplace exposure, exploration and experience as well as tertiary based learning.

Level 2 Careers Academy will give ākonga (students) further insight to the world of work and valuable life skills. Work Experience is a required part of this course. This course is designed to support ākonga (students) who are on the Gateway Work Experience Programme.
This course will build work ready skills and equip ākonga (students) for employment or vocational education. Ākonga (students) may have the opportunity to achieve credits related to their specific industry experience.
Ākonga (students) will develop the ability to be self-regulating, skilled learners who grow in confidence and the understanding of what the characteristics are of a great employee. Ākonga (students) will have the opportunity to gain real life experience through a variety of activities such as:
