Effective and ethical design respects the unique relationship that New Zealanders have with their physical environment and embraces the significance of Māori culture and world views in its practice and innovation.

The study of digital technology will help you to learn how to design your own digital solutions and become creators of, and not just users of, digital technologies, to prepare you for the modern workforce.
In this course you will learn:
to apply computational thinking skills
to apply knowledge of advanced programming structures
to follow an advanced technological process to develop a robot or LAN with a server
how to explore the physical and functional nature of technological devices
about an advanced Computer Science topic
You will
Write programs in Python
Code a Jackbord robot in Octogon or Python
Create a LAN with a server
Study physical and functional nature of parts of a gaming PC
Your work will be assessed through assignments and an external exam.
