Year 12

All students take six subjects in year 12.  A NCEA Level 2 certificate requires 80 credits of which 60 must be Level 2 or higher. 

In year 12 students are to take English and 5 other options. It is possible for students to change English to another option, but this can only be completed after a discussion with a Dean and a clear plan developed . All students thinking about going to university are strongly encouraged to take English.

We ask you also to choose two reserve subjects.
