Business Studies gives students an introduction to the world of business and enterprise. It gives a broad overview of economic practice and business and is ideal for those students wishing to pursue or specialise in the range of commerce subjects.
The study of this course helps students' entreprenuial skills, decision making skills in a business context, problem solving in a business context, business statistical skills and teamwork. A major focus of this course is students working in teams to set up and run their own small business enterprise.
You will establish and run your own business as part of a team. You will also learn about the world of business, share markets and New Zealand's place in the world economy.
