The target for this section is to inform the reader on what it is like to teach Social Studies to Elementary aged students and why it is important for them to know these subjects.
On top of those learning targets, my interview learning topic will be based around the same targets stated above.

How Social Studies could help students further understand the world:

One issue that history has in the aspect of education is that it can be seen as just tedious memorization of facts, which is actually why history was first introduced into education. It has grown to be much more than that though, helping people learn things from the bullet points above.
