My name is Hannah Cox and I am 26 year old aspiring teacher. As a child, I used to play "school" with my friends for fun, but to their dismay I would give them actual assignments and homework. It has been a dream of mine to become a teacher for a very long time! My mother was a teacher's assistant at my elementary school so getting to watch her do it inspired me to want to do the same.

I aspire to be a teacher of Science. I know about many subjects such as biology, astronomy, even animals! I know that students need a safe environment where they can be comfortable to be themselves. This is how I plan to be the best teacher I can be!

I have two sons, my 6 year old Ryland has high functioning autism. He is wicked smart and is an amazing artist. My four year old Mason is as crazy as he is sweet. They are my whole life and I would not be who I am today without them. They motivate me to pursue my career in teaching. Due to the pandemic most of their schooling has been subjected to being in our kitchen. It has been fun to practice making lesson plans and help teach them new things.
