WHO AM I:
Hello, I am Janaya Mozell. I am a Early Childhood Education Major and I am a sophomore.
I am a child of a Teacher Assistant who loves teaching Special Education even though it can be challenging. I also have a twin sister, even though, we look nothing alike (FYI: We're Identical). They make me the happy everyday as well as my crazy dog.
I am a pet owner of a wild chihuahua mixed with a Pomeranian who has a crazy attitude.
I am a person who LOVES Starbucks and I love trying new Starbucks hacks on TikTok
I am a person who comes from a religious background and I believe that is the best decision that I have ever made.
I am person who has a goofy personality and I love socializing with different people of different races.
I plan to become a great teacher who can teach my students the reason of why they are attending school and to help them pass to the next grade level.
I have taught a Early Childhood Class and that expressed me into wanting to teach my own class one day and ever since then I never changed a thing. (I have a picture below of my students and I - In the what I know column).
WHAT I KNOW:
I know that I have a passion for children and that teaching children the key goal to their future is everything to me.
I know that children needs experience to learn
I know that this job may not be easy and it will be challenging
I know that children need that one-on-one learning experience especially with Early Childhood Education Students
I know that children get distracted easily and it can be hard to catch their attention.
I know how it feels to be a student who feels like their constantly drained from doing school work everyday.
I know that I am determined to obtain my career in Early Childhood Education and I will do everything in my power to work hard.
I know that I am a kind person who is understandable and I will be the best teacher for my students.
I can teach my classmates how to have fun with teaching but also take it seriously.
WHAT I HAVE TO LEARN:
I have to learn how to prepare myself for this type of career.
I have to learn how to multitask within a classroom.
I have to learn how to prepare my mind physically, emotionally, and mentally.
I have to learn the habits of being a good teacher.
I have to learn how to network with different teachers from different backgrounds.
I have to learn about diversity amongst the classroom and their parents.
I have to learn about teaching at the pre-k level so they can understand the information easily.
THE TEACHER I WILL BECOME:
I will become a great teacher who will love teaching my students and helping them learn
I will become a teacher who will not be afraid to take on challenges.
I will be a teacher who will work with my students and break down the information step by step
I will become a teacher who will treat my students like my future children one day and give them time to talk about whatever they would like.
I will become a teacher who will stand by my students side and present new activities that will be engaging to them as well as me.
I will become a teacher who will greet my students at the door with a smile on my face no matter what is going on behind closed doors.
I will become a teacher who will teach my students will learn gain experience within the classroom from the help of their classmates and from myself. They will work in groups to better help them understand the information that is being taught.
I will become a teacher who will base my whole career towards this word: Dedication. I will be dedicated to what I do with my students and I will be dedicated to help them learn information to better help them reach their goals.

Having a passion for teaching children is one of the most important things in becoming a teacher. I worry that some careers have people that really don't want to be in the profession and it shows. I'm happy that your idea of a teacher who is someone who truly cares and will work to help your students succeed.
