The Lockwood Chorus and the Concert Band performed at the Veterans Day Ceremony. The Lockwood Chorus was conducted by Gorden Klasna and accompanist Arle Lohof. They sang three songs. This Land is Your Land and Song for the Unsung Hero. This was Mr. Klasna's first time conducting the choir in a concert since he was a choir student back in his day. To start the Veteran's Ceremony, the senior Gwyn Cusak and the junior Hailey Barta sang the National Anthem to honor these Veterans. In Hailey's words, she says "It was an honor to perform in front of so many important, and inspirational people. I can honestly say we were pretty nervous. I’m glad we could perform at such an important event, and show appreciation to all our veterans.”
The Concert Band conducted by Jeremey Ruff played these with the Lockwood Chorus singing GOD Bless the U.S.A, America, the Beautiful, and Marches of the Armed Forces. But just the Concert Band themselves played two songs which are Nathan Hale Trilogy and "Battle Hymn of the Republic. The song Marches of the Armed Forces, this medley featured a march from each branch of the military. Veterans from each department were recognized when their demonstration was performed. So to honor these veterans, the Concert Band and the Lockwood Chorus sang and played for them in honor of their service.
