Tressa Beauprez is a new science teacher at Lockwood Schools and has been teaching for about a year and a half now. She lived in Bozeman before moving to Billings. She attended Bozeman High and Senior High before attending Rocky Mountain College, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in science in 2020. Before Mrs. Beauprez became a science teacher, she worked in Pre-Med and worked on cadavers in her Junior year of college before deciding that she didn't want to work in medicine, instead choosing to be a teacher. She stated, "My favorite part of being a teacher is the kids." She also said that her favorite thing about the school is that it's like a community.
When asked what she would be doing if she didn't decide to be a teacher, Mrs. Beauprez answered that she would probably be doing a job involving paleontology. Outside of school, she enjoys doing yoga, hiking, working in her garden, and spending time with her family. Her husband is Brendan Beauprez, who works in aviation, and she has two dogs, Doodle and Moose. One of her favorite foods is Thai food.
