Choir Puts On Its Third Show of the Year

It’s been a busy few weeks at Lockwood High. So much so that we have yet to cover the choir concert that took place on Thursday, March 24. Sorry about the wait, but here is how it went.

Doors opened at 6:00 p.m., and the show started at 6:30. The concert was held in the middle of district time, meaning both the high school choir and band were quite busy. You might have been disappointed not to see the Swingin Fortes Show Choir; however, don’t you worry, as they will be performing at the next concert, which will be just the high school and middle school choirs and will be held on May 17, 2022.

The current plan is for the show choir to perform two songs at the next performance. Additionally, the Lockwood band will have their fourth and last performance of the 2021-2022 school year. Traditionally, the last concert has always been the pop concert, where the music is chosen more for mainstream music than for cultural music.
