School's Out For SnowFall

Lockwood had one of its first snow days of the year. It happened on April 12th, 2022. The snowstorm came in Monday night and continued throughout the day, which caused the school to call for a snow day. The day they canceled also happened to be the day set for the ACT for Juniors and Pre-ACT for the Freshmen and Sophomore. The test day got moved to the 26th, which is two weeks after the original test day.

A softball game scheduled on Tuesday first got moved to Friday but then was moved again on May 5th, 2022, which will be in Laurel, which will now be a doubleheader. Thursday, there was going to be a game, but it was moved to Tuesday on the 19th. The Track Meet for Friday got Canceled. The week from April 11th to the 15th was already short, with Easter break starting on the 15th and ending on the 18th. The snow day has made that four-day week into a three-day week. Many of the students and teachers were happy about the shortened week.
