Mr. DiGiallonardo is the assistant principal at Lockwood High School. He was born in Denver, Colorado, and moved to Red Lodge when he was three, staying there for nine years before moving to Billings. He originally started as a teacher, working half a year as a student-teacher at Missoula before moving to Lockwood and working as an Intermediate teacher for six years. His career shifted to working in the Middle School as a principal before going into High School. He's also a football coach. Mr. D attended Polson High School and graduated in 2007, then went on to study at the University of Montana, where he graduated in 2012 with a degree in elementary education and a master's in the education of leadership.
He was inspired to get a teaching degree from his father, who was a teacher and a principal at his middle school. He also loves working with kids, and he enjoys coaching football, so becoming a teacher and coach was just meant to be. Mr. D's favorite thing about his job is his daily interactions with the students, and he likes being able to work in a new high school. "It would be nice if the students treated each other nicer," He said in response to what he would change about the school. "Treat others how you want to be treated." When asked what he would be doing if he didn't decide to become a teacher, he answered that he would probably be coaching College football or working as a police officer.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Brittany DiGiallonardo, a kindergarten teacher at Orchard Elementary, and his four-year-old son. He also likes going skiing, fishing, and watching football.
