On December 1st, 2022, the Billings Clinic Foundation held a private Christmas party for all doctors and other employees. They invited some Lockwood Choir students to sing Christmas songs for their party.
These people, Emilee Shults, Kyleigh Bohemian, Simon Pegar, and Liberty Hauck, sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells, Holly Jolly Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin to Town, Night Before Christmas, to take a break Emilee Shults sang Mele Kalikimaka. Back to the Christmas songs Jolly Old Saint Nick, Up on the Housetop, Deck the Halls. Here is another person getting their chance to shine with Kyleigh Bohemian singing Joy to the World, and the final song was We wish you a Merry Christmas. In the end, when the Billings Clinic Singers were done singing, they got a donation of 100 dollars because they came out to sing for the doctors and employees. To say how well it went, Graham Scott says, “We launched a physician at Billings Clinic, we had fifty guests that attended, with all different specialties to reconnect. We have been doing this for about 10 years. We had some wonderful kids come from Lockwood to come out and sing. We propelled a doctor at Billings Clinic and we had fifty visitors .”
To Continue the Lockwood Lions’ success, on December 8th, 2022, the middle school and high school students had a choir concert conducted by Quentin Staton and accompanied by Arle Lohaf. Brooklyn Patterson did all the songs in sign language. The sixth grade starts the show with A Solfege Christmas and Winter’s Cold. Then the seventh grade with Cool Moon and A Holly Jolly Celebration. After the seventh grade, the eighth graders sang Sleigh Ride with the help of Hailey Barta’s horse whinny sound. and Winter Sings Her Song. Now to see what the high schoolers have been up to, the Lockwood Chorus sang Ding-a-Ling-Ding and No Room, No Room. Then the Concert Choir sang Hodie Christus Natus Est and I Heard the Bells also with Hailey Barta on the bells. Lockwood Chorus and the Concert Choir sang Pie Jesu to show the middle school what harmony sounds like. To end the night, the high school and middle school choirs sang Christmas in 90 Seconds together as a group.
