Student Spotlight:

Beau Contreraz is a junior at Lockwood High School. His favorite subject is math because he likes math and everything about it is challenging and the feeling of accomplishment at the end of the assignment that he had just finished makes it all worthwhile.

He is very involved at the school with extracurricular activities, including track, football, and wrestling. After a long tiring day at school, he goes home to a family of nine siblings and a dog named Zeus, who is about three years old.

His plans after high school are to go to college for track and field, but if he does not do that for some reason, he would like to do welding with his dad.
