Irati LaGuardia is a foreign exchange student from Spain. She was chosen from her agency to come to Montana and represent her country. She has two siblings, both younger than her, and she loves watching movies, playing board games, and traveling with her family. While in Lockwood, she is staying with the Vlahos family and says they are loving and kind.
Irati says LHS is a really big school compared to her school in Spain, which is small and doesn't have much room. Her favorite subject is math and history. Although it's kind of hard for her to understand, she still tries her best. She also plays volleyball for the Lions. One of the reasons she came to Montana was to play volleyball because her school in Spain does not have it, and she always wondered how to play. The sports she had in Spain were basketball, soccer, and handball. Besides sports, Irati loves animals and nature. Whereas in Spain there aren't many animals wandering around; in Montana, deer and even bears can walk through your yard. Irati does plan to return to Spain at the end of the school year in June.
