Sadly, Kenneth Painter passed away on September 24th. He was only 49 years old. To honor his memory, the students and family that came to the LHS volleyball game on Tuesday, the 28th, against Miles City were asked to wear camouflage because Kenneth loved to hunt. The players put ribbons on their shoes and, along with the coaches, in their hair. The student section was packed, and everyone wore camo, just as asked. Kenneth's daughter, Emma Painter, is a member of the team and a really good outside hitter. Everyone was cheering her on and helping her feel comfortable playing her game. In the end, freshman and varsity lost all three sets, but JV won their first game ever.
