The Lockwood High School Student Council Food Drive started Monday. November 8th and continued through Friday, November 19th. Staff and students were encouraged to bing died and/or canned goods.
An individual box was placed in each English classroom for students to put their items. For teachers, their box was located in the office area To make things more interesting, it was decided that the food drive would be competitive - teachers vs grade levels - and the box with the most items in it by the end of the donation period would result in the winning team earning a prize of Krispy Kreme donuts.
Good job, Student Council for putting on such a worthwhile event, and congratuations to the Freshmen for bringing in the most items
