Robert Tedlund is the junior history teacher at Lockwood High School. He is also the coach of the girl's basketball team. Mr. Tedlund attended Skyview High School, going on to study at MSU. He graduated in 2012 with a double major in political science. After graduating, he taught government history in Columbia for three years and taught at Harlowton for three years before coming to Lockwood.
In Lockwood, he taught in the middle school for two years and moved to the high school, teaching there for around a year now. His favorite thing about being a teacher is making a positive difference for the students and that every day is different. When asked if he would change anything about the school, he replied that he wants things to be more student-focused than teacher and administrator-focused. If he didn't have his current job, he would probably be coaching college basketball or be attending law school.
When outside of school, Mr. Tedlund enjoys camping, fishing, spending time with his family, and basketball. His favorite foods are Japanese noodles, stir fry, spicy food, and seafood. He has two kids, a four-year-old son, and a one-year-old daughter. His wife is Kaitlin Tedlund. She is a certified teacher working part-time as a speech pathologist. He also has a yellow lab named Ryder.
