Roberta O'Connor is the eleventh-grade ELA teacher at Lockwood High School. This is her eighth year teaching as an English teacher. She first taught in Joliet for four years, then became a substitute teacher in School District 2 for two years before coming to the LHS Middle School for two years. This is her first year teaching in the high school. She is also the eighth-grade girls' basketball coach, and she's the assistant coach for the High School track. She wanted to become an ELA teacher because she was good at English, and she enjoys seeing kids and helping them. If she didn't want or get this job, she would either be doing something involving basketball or something outdoors. When asked if she would change anything about the school, she said she wouldn't want to change anything.
Roberta is from Jordan, a town in eastern Montana, and she moved to Miles City, where she attended high school. When she got out of high school, she attended MSU Billings and graduated in 2010 with a master's in interdisciplinary education. Her hobbies include playing and watching sports, snowboarding, and watching T.V. She has three sons, one dog, and one cat.
