Aaron Koss is new to Lockwood High School and is in his first year of teaching. He went to Hardin High School and then to Bozeman for college. He graduated from Montana State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business. Mr. Koss is taking education courses to get his teaching endorsement, but he does have his teaching license. "I enjoy teaching here, it's an incredible school and it's fun to be here," Mr. Koss said. In his free time, he loves hunting and fishing. He plays with his kids Lily and Brett all the time, and he loves the outdoors and hiking. Mr. Koss teaches photo and video 1 and 2. He's had squirrel, frog legs, rabbit, and alligator. “I've never had ostrich but I'd like to try it," he said. He lived in Missouri, Wisconsin, Indiana and moved to Montana when he was in 7th grade. He has moved away two times, but he still calls Montana home. If he could go to one place in the world, it would be Australia, but he doesn't like plane flights that are more than two hours long because he gets bored. If he were not a photo and video teacher, he'd want to teach career planning and prep. He likes doing career-oriented work with students, and that's why he wanted to be a teacher. He has had 19 jobs since he was 12 years old, has been on 60+ job interviews, and has applied to around 300 jobs in his life. So if you are looking for someone to help prepare you to get a job and what to do for an interview, he has mastered it.
