Staff Profile:

Mrs. Dawson is a teacher for the Lockwood school district, working at both the middle school and the high school. She teaches eighth-grade coding classes, and at the high school, she teaches levels one and two of computer science. She doesn't coach any extracurricular activities, but she is the group leader for the Washington D.C. trip, and at games, she helps by volunteering with basketball and volleyball. When she was in high school, she liked history and was in the music program.

She goes home to a happy husband of 25 years when she leaves school. They have a twenty-one-year-old daughter named Madelin, who is in college. She also has twin sisters and an old dog named Roxy, who is now 12 years old. When asked who her hero was, she said her mom, Cindy, because she inspires her to be patient and kind.
