The softball team left school on Friday the 8th for Lewistown for a Jamboree. They planned to leave at 8:30; however, the bus showed up, leaving the team with a short time to fully warm up once at the game. They had two games Friday, one at noon, which they lost 5-8. The other game was at around four, which they got lost even though they fought and had to win. The team got some spaghetti dinner, and then it was to the hotel, where most of the group had some team bonding by swimming.
The next day the team started the day with a win at their 11:30 game with a score of 16-6 against the Fergus team. The team then went on to have a close game with an ending score of 8-10. The Lockwood softball team will continue to grow as a team and a program. Due to the snow that has come in, the games planned for Tuesday the 12th and Thursday the 14 have been postponed.
