The CTE gym was beautifully made up for the dance on Saturday the 4th for the first-ever Snowball dance. FCCLA, run by Ashley Koss, put on the dance. This was the first time you could get your tickets at a discounted price if paid for on the day of the event. The price at the dance was $20 for a single and $25 for a couple. It was $10 for a single and $15 for a couple at a discounted price. At the dance, there was the same DJ at homecoming, just with a more extensive set of lights. There was also the same photo booth, just with different props that could be used. This dance also had a lot of professional photos that could be. It was located right outside the gym in the hallway. This dance has had many foods and drinks, some special for the season like smores and the build-your-own hot chocolate bar.
Around 10 pm, the voting people got all up in front of everyone to dance to the song "Roslyn" by Bon Iver and St. Vincent. Austin Bonebright and Jayden Fox were dancing together, Saryn Sorrells and Kane Aberle also danced together. There was a slight problem with two of the sophomores not wanting to dance because they had dates. However, Isabell Jodrey's boyfriend jumped in to save her, followed by Tyler Lawver's girlfriend. Once the dancing was done, the crowning could finally begin with help from Dana Grob. Mrs. Koss crowned Gywnieve Cusak and Austin Therriault as the winners with a one-point lead. The two crowned got a solo dance together and even breakdanced to "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The night ended only an hour later at 11 pm.
