The Lockwood Chorus and the Concert Band performed at the Veterans Day Ceremony. The Lockwood Chorus was conducted by Gorden Klasna and accompanist Arle Lohof. They sang three songs. This Land is Your Land and Song for the Unsung Hero. This was Mr. Klasna's first time conducting the choir in a concert since he was a choir student back in his day. To start the Veteran's Ceremony, the senior Gwyn Cusak and the junior Hailey Barta sang the National Anthem to honor these Veterans. In Hailey's words, she says "It was an honor to perform in front of so many important, and inspirational people. I can honestly say we were pretty nervous. I’m glad we could perform at such an important event, and show appreciation to all our veterans.” To Continue Click Here

“My mom [is my hero] because of everything she’s gone through so much and she has achieved despite it,” Heather Nolan said when asked who her hero is. You may see Nolan in classes like consumer math, pre-algebra, and if lucky an English class towards the end of the school day. Elizabeth Buckalew does speech and debate as well as track and field. When at school she really enjoys science class. She has 3 half-siblings. She has 3 cats named Wally, Daisy, and Lucy. As while a pet snake named, Ham and cheese. She plans to go to college after high school to be a medical laboratory technician.
