The 4th-period theater class finally got to do their play. They tried to stage it a week after the 2nd-period class did their rendition of "Darker Shade of Noir," but with COVID-19 and sickness hitting almost all of the castmates along with the director, Mr. Staton, the theater and choir director, had to push the production of the play one full week.
The play that the class decided to do was "The Great Wizard of Oz," instead of doing like 30 characters for this play, we did ten narrators who played parts like the apple trees, the winged monkey, the munchkins, and many more. Like the other play, this one had to have help from the other class. Some parts were taken over, help with line and help more the counters. Gwyn Cuask got the role of Dorothy Gale; also in the main four were Pierce Dotson (Tin Woodman), Ashley Sherrod (The Cowardly Lion), and Oliver Leek (The Sorrowcrow). Other roles included The Wicked Witch of the West (Lily Conklin) and Oz the Great and Terrible, played by Austin Therriault, who came in to help us out when the person supposed to play him couldn't make it.
A big thanks to everyone who came to help out the Wizard of Oz and all those who came to support them. Gywn Cusak said that she thought that "it was a fun experience and it taught us a lot of good lessons, because a lot of things went wrong but a lot went right."
