I have watched many movies in my days. Coupled with me being a photography enthusiast, I know a thing or two about movies. As such, it shows how much I love this movie when I say “Bring The Soul” is one of my favourite movies ever. It is a movie about superstar BTS and their worldwide concert tour.

One of the reasons I like this movie so much is that it gives us a sneak peek into how the group makes music. They recently partnered with UNICEF in promoting the “Love Yourself” campaign, and a big part of why they did so is because they used to be insecure teenagers too. It shows how they want to use their fame to promote self-love through music and lyrics. Plus, the movie shows us how they distribute parts of songs to each member so that their individual speciality shines through, which is something we can all learn from.

When they debuted, BTS were the underdogs from an almost-broke entertainment company. The reason why they are so popular now is that they struggled and suffered, but eventually rose to the challenge and never gave up. This is something the movie sheds some light on. It shows how each member has coped with depression and social anxiety, which is very relatable to me as a teenager.

Moreover, it is just the fact that the entire movie is so healing. It takes you on an emotional roller-coaster, where you celebrate the happy moments, but you feel the fearful moments as if you are with them too. In the end, you will come out of these moments a better person, and that is what the group hopes to convey. We all go through hardships, and it will be a bumpy ride, but we should always love ourselves for who we are.

Lastly, I leave you with this quote from the leader of BTS, “No one is born ugly or stupid, we just live in a judgemental society.”
