Young Leaders In Learning

Today our team met virtually with their counterparts at Walker Road School. The team worked collaboratively to create a presentation to share with Walker Road about how we support health and wellbeing and ensure we are promoting children's Rights.

The team really enjoyed listening to the presentation by Walker Road and were able to give feedback respectfully. The team were also keen to try out some of their peers ideas to support HWB at Danestone.

Our team attended their first training session in becoming Young Leaders in Learning. They considered what skills and attributes that they needed to demonstrate. Our team worked collaboratively to consider how we support pupil wellbeing at school and who they could talk to for help.

They met virtually with schools across Aberdeen City and shared with them why they thought they would be a great Young Leader in Learning. Our team were thrilled to find out that we are going to be working together with Walker Road school. They can't wait to meet with them to share all the great things we do at Danestone and give feedback to their counter parts at Walker Road.
