Danestone Diamonds
Term 1 2023-2024
This term we relaunched our wider achievement award to rename it our Danestone Diamonds Award. We started the term by holding a 'Design a Mascot' competition, so that all the pupils could share their ideas for our new mascot.
Once we had all the entries, we held a vote to choose our favourite. We now have an amazing new logo.

ASG Girls Football Tournament
To promote girls football across the ASG, Aberdeen Active Schools hosted a special Girls Football Tournament. To represent Danestone we had a team of girls from Primary 5-7.
Teams from Scotstown, Forehill and Middleton Park also took part in the tournament. It was lovely to see all of our pupils showing the school values and supporting and encouraging each other to do well.
We also had a special guest team member come along to support our team. A huge well done to everyone involved!
As there was such a high demand for girls to participate in the tournament across the ASG another tournament will be held soon. More details will follow when a date and venue is confirmed.
Well done team Danestone!!
