Literacy

Developing Literacy skills is a fundamental part of teaching and learning. We want our children to be able to communicate well and to leave school with a love of reading and books. Being literate unlocks the wider curriculum and ensures the ability to access the wider world of work. Literacy experiences through talking, listening, writing and reading will allow our children to become successful learners, effective contributors, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
