16/2/23 - Planting Our Inside-Grown Crocuses
We incubated some bulbs to grow inside, and today we planted them in the garden. We checked to see if any of them had grown, unfortunately there were lots of puddles, but we saw some starting to sprout! We also tried experimenting with two bulbs in the woods across from the garden to see if they would grow. If they do, we might plan something for that area too!
1/12/22 - Finishing the Garden!
We have now finally finished clearing and planting the few bulbs we have left. In case things don't go to plan, the committee decided on saving a few bulbs to keep and incubate inside each of our classrooms and share what we've done with the other committees.
17/11/22 - The Front Garden
This week we got to work on planting bulbs and redesigning the front garden of our school. We are hoping that they will sprout and flower in Spring to create a brighter, more colourful first impression of the school! We also installed a fence to help warn others not to step on our growing garden.
