We discussed what it means to us and why it is important to have a good self-esteem and confidence. The children mentioned that it is important to have good self-esteem if you want to be the best that you can be. We thought about ways that we can be positive, not just with others, but to ourselves as well.
Have a look at some of these fabulous confident poses!
February 2021
We had lots of fun with our fruit and vegetable tasting in class this week! We know how important it is to include fresh fruit and vegetables in our diets to stay strong, healthy and to get all of the extra vitamins to help us grow and learn! We tried the following food: cherry tomatoes, honeydew melon, bean sprouts, sugar beans, red and yellow peppers, blueberries, pears and grapefruit. It was nice to smell the fruit and vegetables before we tried them. The class smelled lovely and fresh!

During online learning we set a task for the P1 - P3 classes to create posters that will encourage others to drink more water to stay healthy. They came up with some really fantastic work! Well done!

November 2020
We thought about how we can share what we have learned with the rest of the school. We brainstormed some ideas and decided to make some posters to make others aware of what they need to do to have a healthy lifestyle. The children worked in pairs to design and create their posters. Keep an eye out for them around the school!
October 2020
We have been thinking about what we need to do to look after ourselves to stay healthy physically and emotionally. We discussed that you need to exercise, eat healthy food, get enough sleep, have good hygiene, be dressed for the weather and be able to have someone to talk to about your feelings.
