1 Origin

Ismene was born in Aegialeia (later Sicyon) in 1620 BC.

Ismene's father was Thurimachus, the seventh king of Sicyon, who was called the river god Asopus. [See Argus]

Ismene married Argus, son of Agenor. [Apo.2.1.3]

Agenor and Ismene had a son, Messapus. [See Messapus]
