Aria was born in Anactoria, Asia Minor, in 1338 BC.

2.1 Aria's husband

From the following, it is assumed that Asterius, the son of Anax, was the husband of Cleochus' daughter Aria and the father of Miletus.

1) Miletus, the son of Aria, was the founder of Miletus. [Apo.3.1.2]

2) Miletus, the founder of Miletus, married Cyane, the daughter of the river god Maeander, and had a daughter Byblis and a son Caunos. [Ovid.9.450]

3) Miletus married Tragasia, the daughter of Celaeneus, and had a daughter Byblis and a son Caunos. [Parthe.11]

4) Miletus married Eidothee, daughter of Eurytus, and had a daughter Byblis and a son Caunos. [Antoninus.30]

5) Miletus was the son of Asterius, and Miletus had a daughter Byblis and a son Caunos.
