Alexander (or Paris) was born in Ilium, Troad, in 1220 BC.

Alexander's mother was Hecuba (or Hecabe), daughter of Cisseus (or Dymas). [Apo.3.12.5, Diod.4.75.4]

Alexander married Oenone, daughter of the river god Cebren. [Apo.3.12.6]

Alexander and Oenone had a son, Corythus. [FGrH.Nr4.F29, Photios.186.23]
