< Axius, son of Mygdon >

1 Origin

Axius was born in the Mysia of Olympene in 1305 BC.

1.1 Father of Axius

Axius' son Pyraechmes appears in the legend of the Trojan War. [Dictys.2.35]

The link between Axius and the Troad was Mygdon, who emigrated from Mysia to Paeonia.

A genealogy shows that Mygdon preceded Axius by one generation, so it is assumed that Axius' father was Mygdon.
