Aerias is believed to be a descendant of Cinyras, son of Sandocus, who founded Palaepaphos in 1385 BC.

Aerias' wife is believed to have been Amathousis.

Aerias had a son, Amathus.

Cinyras is also believed to have been Aerias' son.
